I have been blessed. I grew up on a farm in western Kansas, my grandparents owned a ranch where I got to help with roundups, and I became what I wanted to be when I grew up.

 I have owned 2 small animal practices, one I purchased and one I started.

My reason for practicing has not changed since my interview for admittance to Kansas State in 1985 “ To help people help their pets.”

My husband and I live in Belen with Surprise the afghan, Katie the bloodhound and Willy the wildcat our orange rescue kitty . I also have American Saddlebreds and” Ole” the donkey the official guard dog of the farm.

We love to explore the historical and beautiful places in New Mexico.
