Dr. Tracy Young is a compassionate veterinarian whose love for animals was sparked growing up in Colorado. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Equine Science before advancing her expertise at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, where she obtained a Master’s in Laboratory Animal Science. Dr. Young completed her veterinary training at Western University of Health Sciences in California, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Focusing on emergency medicine and surgery, Dr. Young refined her skills through a comprehensive rotating externship at VCA Veterinary Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her experience spans small animal emergency, critical care, surgery, and internal medicine, allowing her to provide exceptional care in high-pressure situations.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Young thrives on her ranch, caring for her diverse animal family, including donkeys (Festus, Juanita, and Chiquita), goats (Richard and George), a cat (Aurora), a flock of chickens, leopard geckos, and dogs (Eva, Hondo, Basura and Burano). An avid traveler and photographer, she enjoys exploring new places with her husband, capturing moments that inspire her.
